A place to meet and grow our “Gay” families. A place where we were free to be who we are. A place where we could gather, have fun, and let our cares melt away. I opened my bars to create a safe gathering place, a place where we could escape from the prejudices of life.
Having owned Gay bars for over 21 years, the attack on Saturday night/Sunday morning felt very personal.
It’s been a while since we had our final last calls at Diversions, Pub 43, & The Mixx.Īfter closing the bars, I needed to take a break from everything and therefor stopped following Social Media thus stopped posting.īut today that ended as I felt compelled to post about the recent tragedy in Orlando.
